"Shark Fins" and Wave Rims

The bionic technology of the wave circle originally came from the nodule on the front edge of the humpback whale's pectoral fin. Experiments have proven that this bulge can bring better aerodynamic benefits. Rugged surfaces have better aerodynamic effects than smooth flat surfaces, reducing air resistance. SUPERTEAM has optimized the design of these dimples based on the characteristics of the aerodynamic wave circle and adopted a "shark fin"-shaped matrix arrangement to better integrate these dimples and the wheel set.

Front 5.2mm Width Carbon Spokes

The All Carbon Ultra Nazar Boncugu front wheel uses 5.2mm carbon fiber spokes. Wide carbon fiber spokes have two main advantages: 1. Wide carbon fiber spokes have a larger lateral area and are more stable when subjected to lateral forces. 2. Wide carbon fiber spokes have a larger load-bearing area, so they can disperse more vibration and impact, thereby improving riding comfort. The thickness of the 5.2mm spokes is only 0.9mm, and each weighs about 3.4g, which further reduces climbing and aerodynamic resistance.

Rear 1.0cm Width Carbon Spokes

The All Carbon Ultra Nazar Boncugu rear wheel uses 1.0cm carbon fiber spokes. The 1.0 cm wide carbon spokes are stiffer than traditional metal spokes, especially when the rear wheel is subjected to greater torque, which allows the rider to transfer power more directly to the wheel when pedaling, reducing energy loss. The rear wheel is the part with the largest wind resistance when riding, and the flat shape can reduce air resistance and increase riding speed, which is particularly suitable for road cycling or triathlons that require high-speed competition environments.

Ratchet Structure Hub

All Carbon Ultra disc brakes feature a 36-tooth ratchet construction hub. The 36-tooth ratchet structure can provide more contact points, thereby enhancing the load-bearing capacity of the wheel hub. A higher number of teeth means a greater contact area between gears, providing a smoother ride and keeping you safe. In addition, it can improve power transmission efficiency and start faster.

A wider front wheel helps improve stability in different wind directions, especially in crosswinds, where it can better manage airflow, thereby reducing wind resistance and improving riding stability and speed. This is critical for straight sections of road riding or racing.
A relatively narrow rear wheel can reduce air resistance at the rear. Because the rear wheel is mainly responsible for power output, a slightly narrower design will make the wheelset accelerate more agilely and improve overall speed performance.
