Standard warranty policy

Product Group:

Applies to all series. You can use the product filters on our website to determine which series of rim you have.

The warranty period ranges from one year to three years from the date of purchase. (Please see the last table for details)

Conditions:

(1) If the wheelset is damaged within 30 days after the customer receives it, Superteam promises to replace the rim, spokes, hubs, etc, and pay the postage.  However, after 30 days, customers need to pay the postage.  (Premise: need to be within the warranty period)

(2) Hub warranty: Hubs are under warranty for one year, and free after-sales service is provided once for human factors within one year.

Rim warranty: Rim enjoys a three-year warranty. If the rim is damaged due to an accidental fall, pit collision, etc. within three years, free replacement of the rim is provided once.

Spoke warranty: Spokes are under warranty for three years, and free after-sales service is provided once for human factors within three years.

(3) At our discretion, we may send a heavier-duty rim version. If we no longer make the rim you purchased we’ll upgrade you to the newest equivalent model at no extra cost.

(4) The Standard Warranty program is not transferable and only applies to the initial purchaser.

(5) Any problem found on the warranty replacement product should be claimed within 7 days after the replacement is received, otherwise, the replacement is viewed as settled. The warranty period applies to the original purchase date and does not reset with a replacement rim.

This warranty coverage DOES NOT cover:

(1) Improper assembly or maintenance, including maintenance by an unauthorized technician.

(2) Installation of parts, accessories, or tires that are not originally intended for, or compatible with, the rims/wheels as sold.

(3)Intentional damage, and minor appearance defects (non-functional damage such as minor scratches are not within the scope of free after-sales service).

(4) Spokes, nipples, or wheel-building issues if the wheel(s) were NOT built by Superteam. If you have a potential wheel building warranty issue with a wheel built by Superteam, please get in touch with us at service@superteamwheels.com

(5) Normal wear and tear (spokes, nipples, pawls, bearings, rim tape, decals, stickers, etc).
